Here you can jump to the jazz at Miller's by the Sea, or soak in soca at 18 Carat. DJs and live bands pull punters to the floor at the Coast nightclub at Heritage Quay. Locals and visitors alike dance hip to hip till the wee hours at Ribbit. Join the party at the English Harbour. Drink with the sailors at the Last Lemming and the Abracadabra. Don tux and drink a martini shaken, not stirred, at Antigua's poshest casino, the St James Club, at Mamora Bay. Locals and jetsetters fuel up on the afternoon barbecue for the night's music and dancing at Shirley Heights Lookout. Kick off your shoes and dance to the steel bands at Admiral's Inn, where the daiquiris are a must.Drink late at Alice's Bar in English Harbour and Ribbit in St John's. Many places are closed during the hurricane season. Most nightlife is centred on hotels and resorts. New places open and close with little or no notice. Wadadli beer is brewed locally. The fancier cocktails are generally best at hotels and resorts. For a simple mixed drink, try English Harbour rum mixed with Ting, a zippy grapefruit soda, the local favourite.
